Tour of Laois Sawmills – 15 Dec 2015
Laois Sawmills provided SWS Forestry staff with a tour of their operations on Tuesday of this week. We were given an overview of the history and expansion of the sawmill and viewed the timber production first hand. Their wood pellet production facility was of particular interest and provided an insight into this renewable energy resource.
